What is Hypnotherapy? Endorsed since 1950 by the American and British Medical Associations, Hypnotherapy can be described as and effective and speedy technique of Psychotherapy using Hypnosis to gain access to the client’s subconscious mind. This gives the ability to help the client to change programming and conditioning often gained during childhood, sometimes releasing memories for evaluation, thereby bringing about rapid and permanent change. It has been described as a state of altered consciousness – NOT a state of unconsciousness, because the client is fully aware of everything during the session and can recall everything afterwards. What are the benefits? Hypnotherapy is a therapy that requires consent and co-operation from the client. The benefits can cover many areas of life including;
